Inside the school

How can I end a lesson so that I know whether my students “got it”

20 Minute Trainer

The bell rings to signal the end of the class. You shout the homework assignment at the students as they shuffle out the door. You have a quiz planned for Friday. Gee, you think, I hope the students pass it this time.

After a 45-minute period that’s packed with objectives and activities, you don’t always know if your students mastered the objectives or not. Inside the School’s 20 minute trainer How can I end a lesson so that I know whether my students “got it” offers you practical teaching techniques on lesson plan closure that can help your students retain the information from one day to the next.

Great teachers can start class off right and deliver a terrific lesson plan, but they often overlook closure. This 20-minute trainer seminar will give you practical closure activities so your students’ learning is not lost when the bell rings.
