Diane Trim taught high school for ten years in small rural schools, urban schools, and suburban schools. She taught French, English, ELL, and journalism, directed plays, coached forensics, and advised both yearbook and newspaper staffs. Trim has taught at-risk students, honors students, summer school students, and middle-of-the road students. Five years ago she left the classroom for the cubicle where she writes about education and arranges presenters for online seminars. Trim misses the mass adulation of freshmen, Shakespeare, and glitter glue. She does not miss long lines at the copier, smelly dry erase markers, or grading papers.

Trim lives in Wis. with her husband, daughter, dog, and cat. When not in her cubicle, Trim shivers in ice rinks while her daughter, a competitive figure skater, jumps and spins.

Joe Blewett – Marketer, Joseph.Blewett@magnapubs.com

Joe Blewett was born and raised in a small town in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. In high school he was active in many different organizations and athletics. After high school Blewett attended and graduated from Ferris State University (Big Rapids, Mich.) with a B.S in Business with a Public Relations emphasis. During that time he was active in intramural sports and several organizations.

Blewett worked in the marketing departments for a newspaper and radio station before joining Magna Publications as a marketer and copywriter
in November 2009. He enjoys working with the presenters and researching topics affecting education.

Blewett resides in Madison, Wis. with his wife Jessica and dog Milo.
