Inside the School is a divison of publisher Magna Publications, Inc. Magna Publications  is a well-known communications company that publishes higher education newsletters and manages onsite and audio conferences. Since William Haight founded the company in 1972, it has grown to employ a staff of 31 in the production of five newsletters, three national conferences, numerous audio conferences, and a business magazine. Inside the School has been operating since the summer of 2008. It offers an online newsletter and e-zine that delivers tips and strategies to K-12 administrators. Inside the School provides entire schools with national-level speakers with interactive audio and video online seminars and CDs.

Inside the School’s consulting group provides experienced and professional consultants to school districts in six core areas: teacher evaluation, Common Core State Standards, school turnaround, charter school development, organizational effectiveness and school climate.

Our Mission:

Inside the School provides practical strategies and resources to school administrators online, in a weekly e-zine, and through online seminars, printable reports and consulting services.

Our Team:

William Haight – President, Whaight@magnapubs.com President of Magna Publications and In Business Magazine, Bill founded several national academic conferences such as the National Conference on Student Leadership and The Teaching Professor Conference.

Joe Blewett – Marketing Director, Joe@InsideTheSchool.com Joe Blewett was born and raised in a small town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. In high school he was active in many different organizations and athletics. After high school Blewett attended and graduated from Ferris State University (Big Rapids, Mich.) with a B.S in Business with a Public Relations emphasis. During that time he was active in intramural sports and several organizations. Blewett worked in the marketing departments for a newspaper and radio station before joining Inside the School in November 2009. He enjoys working with the presenters and consultants and researching topics affecting education. Blewett resides in Madison, Wis. with his wife Jessica, daughter Sophie and dog Milo.
